FAMILY, FUN AND FITNESS
The vision of Joondalup Little Athletics is to be a strong vibrant and successful Little Athletics Centre, servicing the Joondalup area. Our emphasis is on fun, encouraging participation, recognising personal best performances and the personal development of each individual member.
The primary aim of Little Athletics is to provide a recreational activity for boys and girls from U6 to U17 age groups. It provides children not only with an equal opportunity to participate, regardless of their ability, but also with an equal opportunity to strive for success.
Joondalup Little Athletics meets every Saturday morning during the summer Season (October through to March) at the Athletics Oval, Joondalup Arena. The Oval is situated to the west of the Arena Aquatic Centre. Our program starts at 8:00 am and is designed to conclude by midday.

On Saturday 6th February we are back to our morning meetings, and we start with Program 1, with marshalling at
7:30 am for those athletes doing the Walks.
See you all there!

See the 'Results' page for latest results together with Athlete PBs, Event Participation and Athletes' Points Totals.

For those athletes going to the State Multi-Event Championships at Challenge Stadium on Sunday 7th February - please click here for full details and note the start times of your events. As usual, parent roster will be required and don't forget - athletes must compete in ALL events for their age group. Good luck everyone!

Please note this information received from WALA regarding the use of spikes when competing at Challenge Stadium.

Also please note - Jayne Mitchell, WALA coaching co-ordinator for the northern part of Perth, has offered to do some specialist sprint training for athletes aged U14 and up on Wednesday 3rd March 5-6.30 at the Arena.  Athletes from all JLAC clubs are welcome to attend this training with Jayne, so come and do your final preparation for sprints for zones with someone with loads of experience. Note that coaches are welcome to attend.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This year we are we are implementing a roster system for all families. Click here for the current rosters - as you can see families are rostered on for the entire day to one event or activity and are required for every event held on that day.

Every family will have a roster to complete over the season, and if they are unable to attend it is
their responsibility to find a replacement.

GO all you Little Athletes! - and the very best of luck for the 2009-10 Track & Field Season!
