Joondalup Athletics Club (Seniors)Welcome to our first ever club to serve the needs of senior athletes for Track & Field in Joondalup! We are young in this game and have lots to learn and implement but join us in making a good start in our inaugural year. The club is affiliated to WA Athletics as well as to the Joondalup Centre to provide participation in Little Athletics for relevant athletes. So for those athletes 12-17 year old, enrolling at the Joondalup Athletics Club, give athletes a chance both to take part at Joondalup Little Athletics Centre meets and WA Little Athletics events, as well as WA Athletics meets at WA Athletics stadium on Friday nights including state championships. For athletes older than 17 years the logical place of competition will be at the WA Athletics stadium in WA Athletics meets. TrainingMonday 6pm-7pm Coaches are provided on an ad hoc basis, messages will go out to registered athletes - individual or informal groups or own coaches to be used for general training. Basic equipment provided. (Equipment will be increased across the season). Specific needs to be communicated (Sean de Ruyter - Club Equipment Officer). CompetitionWA Athletics (Seniors 12y+) registration only: Friday nights at WA Athletics Stadium $10 per evening for 1 up to all events offered on the evening. Any WA Athletics meet including State Championships, All Schools State Championships Little Athletics (12y-17y) registration as well as WA Athletics (Seniors 12y+) registration: Saturday mornings Joondalup Centre Meets at the Arena athletics oval including all WA Little Athletics events at the WA Athletics Stadium including State Championships. UniformJoondalup Centre Uniform (purple with yellow, white, black). New uniforms similar to WA Athletics styles are in process of manufacturing. Emails will be sent to athletes when uniforms are ready. Registration FeesWA Athletics (seniors 12y+): $70 AffiliationJoondalup Athletics Club is affiliated to Joondalup Athletics Centre and therefore have access to all the centre clubrooms and equipment.
